"Perfect your Writing" is meant for students wishing to attain an upper-intermediate level (B2 on the CEFR scale) in writing. It is a comprehensive course which focuses on all aspects of writing in a wide variety of contexts. It is ideal for students who are preparing for any B2 level examination (e.g. Cambridge FCE, Edexcel Level 3, KPG 3, Michigan ECCE, Trinity ISE II).
Each of the twelve units includes:
- A model passage (e.g. letter/small, essay, report, etc) with text analysis questions.
- Language activities covering everything from register and linkers to common grammar problems.
- Reading to writing activities with an emphasis on summary writing.
- Guided-writing activities based on small prompts.
- Free writing activities covering a wide variety of text-types and styles.
- A comprehensive glossary with vocabulary practice.
There are also four review units as well as a comprehensive consolidation unit.
"Perfect your Writing" will helps students become effective writers. By becoming effective writers, they will succeed in any exam.
The "Teacher's Book" includes lesson plans, comprehensive answers, suggestions and supplementary activities.
